About Us

Effective Sales Ltd was founded to meet the needs of small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs). These are businesses which often struggle to resource the skills required to solve a short term revenue crisis, or longer term planned business transition.

Its founder Patrick Cooke, a Sales Director of over 20 years experience, has managed sales teams across European and transatlantic territories, facilitating significant successes at both the tactical sales and strategic corporate levels.

Patrick has worked across a wide variety of businesses, ranging from online publishing to stock broking. In particular he has extensive experience of the computer hardware and business application software marketplaces having worked, within the IBM AS/400 agency community, for enterprise software houses such as Oracle and Documentum, and for niche software suppliers to the digital publishing and document security industry.

Prior to his successful corporate career in sales and sales management, Patrick also qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in the City of London.
